It was with great pleasure that my supervisor Dr. Panagiota Dimitropoulou presented our work at the 45th Annual Conference of the International School Psychology Association (ISPA 2024), that was held in Riga, Latvia from 03-06 of July 2024!
In this presentation, we had the opportunity to present the design of the multimodal intervention program named 'Child ViReal Support Program' that was developed as part of my doctoral studies for children with attention deficits and their parents. According to the results from the randomized controlled trial (RCT) study that was implemented to assess its efficacy, following their participation in the intervention program, parents reported reduced parenting stress, enhanced parental self-efficacy, and increased use of democratic parenting practices, while children demonstrated decreased levels of inattention and impulsivity/hyperactivity, enhanced performance in cognitive tasks, and reduced behavioral problems. .
Overall, it was a great experience and I would like to thank all the attendees for the fruitful discussion and comments!
